Layla is a 3-4 yr old Shih Tzu weighing 13 #. She was rescued from the middle of a busy street. She was so matted and had so much hair matting her face she may have not even been able see. The fleas were more than abundant. She was very thirsty.
Since coming to rescue having a spa day this precious dog has blossomed. Smart would be an understatement. She is extremely quick to learn new routines. Sleeping and eating in a kennel were assimilated in a couple of days. She quickly integrated into a pack of very young and very senior dogs. She walks ok on a leash but is a slow poke and would rather get back to the comforts of AC.
She likes children on the walk and seems indifferent to the resident feral cat.
She has demonstrated appropriate bathroom habits. Initially with each change she has required a short period to adjust.

Layla has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, is Heartworm negative and has had a complete dental. He adoption fee is a bit more secondary to the dental. Fee is $400
