Flora is an amazing 1 1/2 yr old Shih Tzu mix weighing 13#. Flora was bought at a local Pet store as a Shih Tzu/Brussels Griffon mix by a senior who shortly after became ill and so Flora was passed on to two caregivers. Flora came to us very shy and with no vet care. She is blossoming into a friendly, playful and entertaining young dog. She has mixed well with all the fosters. She is initially shy with new people but easily won over with treats and patience. She is very smart and has quickly learned the nighttime and feeding kennel routine. She is housebroken.
She will need some work on leash walking but is not resistance to going just needs encouragement.
Flora is very active outside and loves to play run and chase. She will do best with a yard. She would love another dog companion but would do well as a single spoiled child.
Flora is spayed, microchipped, Heartworm negative, wormed and has had a vet evaluation. Her adoption fee is $350. If you would like to give her a few treats and have her jump up to your seat for more treats, please fill out an application found on site below.
