Yes, indeed what a precious picture! Her story is as amazing as she is cute! Willow appears to be a Havanese mix. She is about 3 years old and weighs 12#. Willow was observed along a fence line near a quarry pit. Her rescuer spent several days often twice daily bringing food and water. Willow would approach but never near enough and would dart back under 2 fences and on the last attempt Willow’s matted tail got caught on a bush and she was grabbed. She was noted to be engorged with milk. If she had babies with her, they were not accessible under 2 fences. It was possible her babies were sold and she was dumped.
She loves to cuddle and spend all the couch time you want to give her. She is beginning to play with toys. She has mastered housebreaking.
Willow is still a bit nervous on a leash but now has confidence enough to talk a bit to other passing four-legged walkers.
She does well with other small dogs once she is familiar with them.
Willow is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, Heartworm negative and has had a full vet evaluation. If you can’t wait to feel her soft non-shedding fur, then please submit an application found on site below.
